The Problem

Figma only offers a single device frame for Android prototypes. Designers have no way to quickly validate how their layout behaves across the real fragmentation of Android screen sizes without duplicating frames manually.

The Solution

A plugin that takes your selected prototype frame and instantly renders it side-by-side in multiple device sizes — iPhone 15 Pro, Samsung Galaxy, iPad mini, small Android — all at correct aspect ratios.

01

The Problem with Figma Prototyping

Figma's prototype mode is fantastic, but it defaults to one device at a time. Checking four different Android and iOS sizes means duplicating frames, scaling manually, and hoping you didn't miss anything. There had to be a better way.

02

How It Works

Select any frame in Figma and open the plugin. It reads the frame dimensions, creates scaled instances for each target device, and lays them out in a 2×N grid with device labels and resolution annotations. No manual duplication.

03

Device Library

Ships with a curated set of the most important screen sizes: iPhone 15 Pro (390×844), Samsung Galaxy S24 (412×915), iPad mini (768×1024), small Android (360×800), and more coming. Designers can also add custom sizes.

04

What's Next

Annotation overlays showing breakpoints. PDF export for client presentations. A comparison mode that highlights layout differences between devices. And integration with the DesignGen AI plugin so generated designs are immediately previewed across all targets.

Outcome

Work in progress. Core rendering engine is done. Adding annotation overlays and the ability to export the multi-device grid as a PDF for stakeholder reviews.
